開心阿～我終於不用每天去超市尋找常常找不到的新鮮香料啦～嘿嘿、阿Jo上週末去了一趟建國花市、買了好多香料的盆栽、解決了我常常擔憂的問題 ^^ 因為買一包有機的香料通常要花上50~100多圓、而且每次都只用一兩根然後放沒多久就枯掉了。浪費及看到美好的植物枯死會讓我心痛...不過現在我只要 走出陽台、香料們都會健康的跟我揮手、還多到用不完ㄟ。Jo買了巴西里、迷迭香、百里香、還有羅勒。這些都是台灣自己種植可食用的植物、有機無毒喔～
意大利香芹菜又名Parsley、巴西里、歐芹、荷蘭芹、洋香菜～長的跟香菜有點像但是味道淡許多。有捲葉與扁葉兩個品種，捲葉通常做為料理裝飾擺盤、扁 的比較昂貴在台灣我還沒見過有賣說～巴西里幾乎在很多西餐料理中看到、不僅帶給食物香氣、綠綠的顏色的還是很棒的增色高手喔！
迷迭香rosemary的味到很濃、類似樟腦、聞到它的氣味會幫助提神 :) 因為它的香味、在西方迷迭香也被稱為"聖瑪麗亞的玫瑰"，教堂外種植意味著驅魔集祝福的意思。聖誕節掛在門上的裝飾品也常常是用迷迭香來制做的喔！它可以 去腥、在料理魚、雞、肉的時候放上一些、味道好極了。
羅勒別名Basil、九層塔、十里香。以前阿Jo在美國煮三杯雞用他們的羅勒就是煮不出香氣來。後來發現、原來九層塔是羅勒比較有辛香氣的品種、煮東方料理用濃烈的九層塔才對～義大利 pizza, pasta, 還有番茄冷盤都少不了它！
百里香又稱Thyme，麝香草。它有好多的神話ㄟ～像是傳說中女神維納斯眼見特洛伊戰爭傷亡無數經常落淚、眼淚一但掉在土裡就會變成百里香...太美了 吧！百里香味道清淡、檸檬百里香這個品種的味道最好、需要檸檬味的料理都可以加上一些。乾的百里香味道就少了許多、用量就要多一些。
最後要介紹的是我家阿姨以前種下的薄荷葉～ Mint很容易繁殖、是一年四季的香草。味道也為一般人熟悉容易接受。鹹的甜的都常常可以用它。Jo喜歡在打西瓜汁的時候放進幾片薄荷葉、好清涼喔～
